A memory by James Frey ’75, ’77M

I was part of a team that automated the library catalog back in the 1990’s. When the technology center and library finally had the catalog on-line, the Dean of the Library thought the card catalog should remain on the floor. It was quickly removed when the students no longer used the card catalog.

What is a Land Acknowledgment Statement?

A Land Acknowledgment is a formal statement that recognizes and respects Indigenous Peoples as traditional occupants of this land and the enduring relationship that exists between Indigenous Peoples and their traditional territories.
