I started at SHIP in the Fall of 1988. In an effort to join a club and meet some new people, I joined the Concert Committee. A few months later, Pat Benatar came to campus to play a show and since I was on this committee, I got a chance to meet her earlier that day prior to her performance while we were in the midst of setups and prep.
